Re: Worried about my Dog

My puppy traveled in a separate flight from Porto to Geneva. Due to some major delays (thanks easyjet...), we arrived late in Geneva, and the customs where we could get her back was closed for the night!!!

We were very worried for her as we had to come back the next day to get her. But the 'animalerie' in Geneva is great: they gave her her own little room for the night, with blankets, water and food. They took good care of her, and she was perfectly relaxed and happy.

In Porto, they told us to place newspapers or absorbant papers on the bottom of the cage, and insisted al lot on the importance of water for the travel.

Can you tell me what service you used to transport him, and how they did? When we move, we have to move two Weimaraners, and I'd appreciate knowing how the service performed.

Thanks.
We went to the 'cargo' section of the airport. They are used to transporting live animals. They know all about the papers you need, depending on the country you are from and go to.

Re: Worried about my Dog

Hello everyone just wanted to give an update that my dog just made it to Switzerland today and he is happy to see me and very tired. I really would like to recommend both http://www.aarkair.com/ and http://www.acepetmoving.com/ They worked together and were both very professional and compassionate. It has been a tense 24 hours but now we can finally relax...
