To anyone in the area, please keep your eyes and ears open in case you spot this parrot. His name is Charly, he lives in Freienwil, near to Baden, as well as Ehrendingen, Nussbaumen, Rieden, Obersiggenthal, Untersiggenthal.

Some birds who escape, particularly those who only fly indoors. may just fly once, land, and choose somewhere to hide and wait to be found.

Let's hope for his safe return to his owner.

They are highly intelligent. The owner has two birds, the other is his sister and she is so upset her brother is gone she won't eat and she won't make a sound. At first she was calling for her brother but now I think she has given up. It is so sad.

The purpose of my post was not to begin a debate about keeping caged birds. It was to ask for help for those who may live in the area. If you want to discuss this topic, by all means start a new thread. I would be happy to post on it. But please, could we just keep this one on topic?

A long overdue update. My friend's parrot was never found. I helped with the search as I live nearby, as did many others.

The owner got a second bird and recently he relocated and of course the birds went with him.
