pigs, budgies, goldfish and other social animals cannot be kept alone???

Cat's are social animals too, or not?.... Does this mean, I have to get a second cat? I wouldn't mind...

Domesticated cats are not social animals. Only lions are.

then why shouldn't goldfish be kept alone... it is more common to have one goldfish in a bowl rather than two.

They are social animals. The common behaviour by owners is very, very bad. As the articles states, goldfidh, budgies, etc, need a companion. Esp since they are confined. Wish other countries had such laws.
