I really, really care about my fluffy wuffy puddy cat and would love to join but feel a bit hypocritical as we have to leave her in a month or two. I will post some pics as she is just divine - I just wish I could find a new home for her.

How old is she and all that?

Yes, we are leaving for Malta in the next month or two (unavoidably) and we cannot possibly take her there as we can't find any apartments that allow pets and most don't have gardens either, and she loves to roam outside. I posted a thread recently about her and the thought of leaving her really is breaking my heart. We have explored all the avenues and there is no way - believe me, we would never have taken her had we known that we would not be staying here. She is black, ten months old and a bundle of warm, affectionate, playful fun.

I assume when you said you'd posted about her on EF before that means you put up and ad for her?
I wish people would stop breeding their pets. There are already too many animals for what we have homes for errrr.

Thanks, I am sure that you would and, yes, I placed an ad on here to try to find her a new home, but no joy yet.

I'd love another kitty... as well as the pair of chihuahuas that someone else is looking for a home for... as well as the beagles that someone else is looking to find a good family for...

Alas, my apartment is not large enough for that many dogs and my landlady has recently added a claim of not allowing pets (er, this WAS discussed before we moved in as I still want to bring my dog HERE from the US... as soon as I can get hubby to loosen the purse strings to that extent) to the other issues we've begun having...

And, well, we live on the 5th floor with no hope of a cat being able to go on walkabout so unfortunately, I can not offer a home for your kitty either Nicola.

Yes, my Bonny is pretty much like Simon's Cat... if she can tell I'm waking up, she'll start attacking my feet, especially if they're out of the covers.

Also, she brings her toys to our bed as if we'll play with her or maybe to show them off as if she's killed them... we wake up with all sorts of cat toys at the foot of the bed ( ), including her newest favorite - q-tips (aka cotton swabs) - some of which she fished out of the bathroom trash. (I've taken now to giving her fresh ones from the cabinet to keep her from dragging used ones around the house - and into my bed.)
