Anyone know where I might be able to get an African Grey Parrot, and for how much, including a suitable size cage? Not fully grown as I value you my fingers  , and i'd rather get a large chick used to me. Possibly even two as I understand they like company. I've serached the internet for suitable petshops in Switzerland, but can't find one.

Near Paddy Reilly's,opposite Bahnhof Selnau, top of Loewenstrasse, there's a reputable pet store. Often hear tweeting and such from there...  |

It's actually just back along towards the Bridge on the north side, Sihlstr. Thanks in advance | | | | | What exactly will you achieve by having a caged bird? If you need company then buy X-Box or get laid! Don't feed the trade that brings such birds to Europe. How would you feel being caged for rest of your life? Makes me really sad seeing something that should fly freely being stuck in a cage. Don't be so selfish!  |

I intended to buy birds that had been bred in Switzerland, and if possible, breed myself. I think 1600 per bird is sufficient reason to do it. On top if which, they would not be in the cage all the time. Indeed, pea and l00p, having such pets is not illegal and I think your jumping to conclusions here is wrong.
If bigfacthunt wanted your opinion on whether or not he/she should be questioned morally for wanting these birds, he would perhaps have asked "is it cruel......" rather than "where can I get...."
