| | | Dog that helps around the house
Back on crutches again after a second operation on the foot, I could use a little household help. I wish my dogs could help out a bit like this dog in the video. http://www.bu2z.com/video/vie-de-chien.html | | The following 17 users would like to thank Mrs. Doolittle for this useful post: | argus, Crofty, Deep Purple, Dougal's Breakfast, edot, Hsiang, jacek, jdat, meloncollie, Nil, Papa Goose, Peg A, Plau Deri, Reb77Br, smackerjack, Snoopy, summergirl |

That made me laugh! What a dog. I loved the dog cleaning the windows. How adorable.
Hope your surgery went well, too!

This is animal abuse!!! Poor dog having to get her dirty socks in his mouth...eeeeew
No kidding, hilarious . Actually my dog (black lab) comes from a helper dog family. All his brothers and sisters are either blind guiding dogs or helper dogs. He was the last one in the nest and I was looking for a working dog type lab, cause they are thinner and sportier (they come from gun dog background). Perfect match!

You will have to get your parrot to watch the dog and learn a few tricks.
I showed that to my OH who despairs that I always leave cupboard doors open - next doggie will be trained to perform that task!
Hope that you are on the mend soon and not in too much pain....

Mrs Doolittle, thanks for the lovely vid. Hope you´re recovering speedily and your long-eared pals are all well. I miss my little ´helper´ as she´s away doing her guiding exams at the mo´. The third pic is a seasonal tribute to your pooches. | | This user would like to thank argus for this useful post:

Absolutely brilliant!
What a fantastic little dog - and what a fantastic trainer! I am very impressed indeed.
(My guys are ... erm... not so helpful. )
Sorry to hear that you're back on crutches, Mrs D - hope that your recovery goes well this time around, and that you are soon back on your feet. Hope the bassety crew are watching that video and taking notes... | | This user would like to thank meloncollie for this useful post:

Wow, what a dog, thanks for that!
I guess, it would take me longer to teach this to my dogs than to do all the jobs myself for the rest of their lives, even though they really try to be helpful by stealing my hat, abducting the cat's food bowl and other things...

Thanks for posting this. Makes me miss my jack at home. He wasn't quite as helpful though, but I think he always thought he was! Hope you feel better soon!
