Hi Guys,
We just had to put our Lucas to sleep and we think it will be better for our other cat to have company so were wondering if you knew of anyone that had kittens to give away. We would prefer a male one, but race and looks are not important, we just give the kitten a new and good home.
I know I can look at the tierasiel but I wanted to try the EF first...thanks!

Correct me if I am wrong but I think kitty season is Spring..
My dad won't let me get one, but Ill ask my friends

Angela, I'm so sorry to hear about Lucas.
I've always thought that the best tribute we can pay to the friends we have lost is to open our hearts to another critter in need.
Have you been in touch with the Tierschutzbund Basel? http://www.tierschutzbund.ch/katzenheiminfo.php
I don't have any experience with their cat shelter, but rather with the canine end of their mission. These are the folks who rescued my oldie, brought him back to health, and gave him a second chance. Good people.
I hope you find your kitty soon.

Thanks guys, @ melancollie, I have seen the webpage of a tierheim in Basel and I think I will go there next week...I do not want to let too much time pass but now have no energy

Hi Angela,
I'm really sorry to hear about Lucas. Our family cat Mimi died before Christmas and we were all heartbroken. It's amazing how these gorgeous balls of fluff become such integral parts of the family.
At least Lucas has a playmate in kitty heaven with Mimi.

Angela, I am sorry to hear this. I know how painful it is to lose such a close friend.
I keep looking at my big fluffy Toutoune and I know that slowly we are going there, she isn't a young lady anymore.
I hope you'll get a new friend to share an other part of your life with. Especially when we live in an other country, those are the one who always make us feel better when we feel down.

Just wanted to let you know that we picked up "Oscar" the new addition to out family yesterday and so far it seems that he gets along pretty good with Audrey...he is basically ignoring her LOL
