KKollage, according to Vetpharm, Felimazone is a category B drug - meaning it requires a prescription for dispensation.

Well, yes! I did get the tablets from the vet, and I am offering them to someone who already has a cat who is taking the medicine. Sorry if that wasn't clear. In the end i will just take them back to the vet for disposal, but it seems a waste.

KKollage,

The point being that you can't re-sell prescription meds. A category B drug is prescribed by a vet for a specific individual.

To give you an idea, I was not able to even donate unused but still sealed meds to an animal shelter in Switzerland - the shelter could not accept them under Swiss law, as they had been prescribed to my dog, not to any of theirs.

Unused meds should be returned to the vet for disposal, or to any Apotheke.
