| | | Kittens!!! [Looking for a new home - Zurich]
We have 2 Manx cross kittens to give away. Both have tails, but very Manx-y personalities. They are 7 weeks old, litter trained and eating solid food, although still latching on to mum when they can. Alberta (mum, Manx) came over from ... you guessed it... Alberta with me last year and then went back to Canada with us for 2 months this summer where she fell for a big strapping tabby ranch cat. They had a summer fling and now we've got a flat full of kittens!
These little ones are super-playful, brave and boisterous, and need to go where they will have access to a garden, or at least be able to go outside as they seem to take after their mum who loves walks in the woods and climbing/stalking/hunting things.
We have a friend coming this week to choose hers (she has dibs) after which I will post pics of the contenders. Likely one male and one female, both gorgeous. In the meantime, here's a shot of the group from about 10 days ago. We are keeping the girl on the left, the next one is a boy, (huge feet, so handsome!) then girl, girl. Yes, the one with the mohawk is a total punk!

Hi
I am interested in a female if there is still one left! I assume that they are not vaccinated? Do you know at what age this should be done?
Thanks
Nicola

I am SO not a cat person, and only got Ali a) as company for my husband who gets all sad when I am away and b) because she is a Manx and I heard they were cool... which they ARE! Much more "doggy" than other cats I have met.

Yup, we definitely will have one female, and no they have not been vaccinated yet, my CDN vet said to do it after 8wks, but we have a really good vet here near Oerlikon if you are looking...

When were they born? We were thinking of adopting a kitty so he/she can play with Tobi, my cat. He only accepts kittens so I can't take an adult cat from the shelter.

My dad "hated cats" until I made friends with a wild one form a nearby house. It came in and at first he spluttered about it loudly, saying it was restricted to my room. After a couple of weeks he progressed to scowling at it and following it around the house to "check on it" with a bemused expression. The next week he gave it a short greeting when it came in and actually reached down to touch it. From then on it rapidly progressed to where he would actively let it in the house (it was always at the kitchen door) and stroke it, even getting to the point where he murmured to it like you would to a kid. The rest is history.
If I had a house and a garden I would have one of these in a shot, the mohican one, simply adorable.

I'd love one but we're on the top floor and already having "trouble" with a restless kitty.
Our Bonny figured out how to get out through the shades so we're looking for something strong enough to keep her inside if we open the windows (m-i-l says the screens designed for flies is not strong enough) and having to build a net enclosure around our balcony.
She's adorable though so it's worth the fuss. | | This user would like to thank Peg A for this useful post: | |

I won't give up hope yet That's how we got our family cats when I was a kid - they adopted us! They were originally the neighbour's cat's but somehow they didn't take too kindly to the Rotweiler they decided to bring in to the family.
I like the bold, fat one, middle right. |

We would love to adopt one (or two!) of the kittens. We'll be away for two weeks over Christmas... if they are still looking for a good home at the start of January, please let us know!!
