| | | Small cute Kittens for sale
Hello everyone!
I am someone who take care about small kittens nobody wants. I take them to a vet for vacination, enwurmt, they have microchp and passports. Unfortunately I must charge for this, couse it cost a lot but a visit at a vet is really expensive. Right now I have 6 kittens they are 6 weeks old and extremaly sweet When I come to them I have only two hands and they need so much contact. They have longer fur so probably are mixed. They are friendly and can use the toilet. So if someone want a kitten plese contact me vie PM.
Kind regards

Jeeze that pic of the first kitten made my hair stand on end!
They'll need a bit more time with their mum, no? Or is their mum not with them?

6 weeks is really not old enough to be without mum, as said above. Advice from all the animal charities is that young cats or dogs should never be adopted without seeing them with mum. Where do they come from?

All of you have right they should be with mum still but they have not the mum. As I wrote I rescued them. And this is what I do! What do you think about me... I have only two hands to give them as much love they need that is the reason I am looking for lovely family for them.

I'm sorry to say I am concerned. The import of more than 3 cats at a time means that they have to go through veterinary checks at the border. They would need to have been vaccinated against rabbies at least 30 days (=4weeks) BEFORE the date of entry into CH, and I am sure no vet would vaccinate them against rabbies at the age of 2 weeks.
The importation and sale of kittens is strictly regulated in CH.
350CHf x 6 is quite a lot of money.

Please stop bring kittens from other countries into Switzerland. There are plenty of kittens here that need homes. You'll be better off spending your time and money convincing people to spay and neuter their cats back in Poland (or where ever).

Gosia,
I certainly understand the desire to do something to address the plight of homeless, neglected, and abused animals. The need is overwhelming; a caring person can make quite a difference. Good-hearted people everywhere work very hard to raise awareness of the critical state of animal welfare, to promote the idea of responsible pet ownership, to encourage people to consider adopting an animal in need. This work should be applauded and encouraged. My sincere respect to all at the front lines of animal rescue.
Having said that, there is a growing problem today where unscrupulous dealers - the very people who are at the heart of the animal welfare problem - pose as 'rescuers' in order to tug at people's heartstrings to sell animals for profit. The animals such folk sell are not 'rescued'; these dealers are often battery farmers themselves, or are the middle man between the battery farmer and unsuspecting customer.
Purchasing from such people perpetuates the cycle of abuse. That the very people who cause such misery attempt to to co-op the good will that true rescuers have worked so hard to earn is indeed heinous.
The problem is well known, much discussed in the media and certainly within the animal welfare community in Switzerland. The BVet and Tierschutz regularly warn against 'Hunde- und Katzenhandel', especially involving dealers who import animals from abroad.
This is why some posters are questioning what you are doing. From your posts, one could infer naivté about how rescue works in Switzerland, or one might infer other motives. I sincerely hope that is not the case. As I don't know you, I'll assume you are working from the heart for the animals, and not for profit - but do you see how your post could raise suspicion?
Please understand that I am not casting aspersions - I simply want to explain why your post could raise some red flags. I'm only offering you a 'heads-up' from a fellow animal lover and perhaps some advise:
Rescue is all about trust. Why not align yourself with an established rescue group already working here? You - and most importantly the animals - would benefit from working with an established group, one who already have a good reputation, who have already earned public trust and support. There are several Swiss rescue groups working with organizations abroad, most would welcome help from a like-minded, dedicated, willing volunteer.
Swiss animal lovers are well aware of the lack of animal welfare standards in some not too distant countries, well aware of the plight of the poor creatures whose misfortune was simply to be born on the wrong side of a man-made border. Swiss animal lovers are caring, open, ready to help - but trust in the bonafides of the rescue organization is critical.
I don't wish to offend, and offer my sincere apologies if I have done so.
I hope the kittens find the loving forever homes they so deserve.

Thanks Meloncollie for explaining concerns so well. Gosia, there are 100s of cat refuges in Switzerland full of cats and kittens to re-home. There are also 1000s of stray cats and kittens all over Switzerland- people are desperate to GIVE THEM AWAY. Somebody here on the Forum asked me if I could adopt one of the many stray kittens which live around their home. And 1000s get put to sleep by vets here, and more get drowned by the farmers or other people, dumped at refuges, or by the roadside. It breaks my heart too - but bringing more from your country is defo not a good idea, however well meant. I'd be really surprised if anybody will actually pay chf 350 unless it is a pure breed kitten - as there are so many given for free or for a small donation.
If you can't keep the kittens, please talk to your local refuge, please.

What ever you will write I had not a bad intentions. I did it one time and I am not going to do this any more. Every thing was legal! These kittens had found wonderful families. If you like to do something positive please write adresses of shetlers for cates, cause many people do not know them (like me). Mostly becouse of language barrier... This is how you can useful use this thread. Thank you.
