If you are looking for accommodation in the Biel area, seriously seriously consider viewing these appartments. What the previous poster does not say is how good all the tenants are, quiet, polite and for me, a pleasure to live there.

I viewed several appartments before settling here and was not at all impressed with the general tattiness, ugliness and noisey-ness of all the properties I viewed and that was well over 20 properties!

If you like a semi raural environment this is it, hardly overlooked front or back and a forest virtually on your doorstep and coupled with this the full facilties of a town so close by.

And NO - I was not put up to this post by the original poster. I wrote it because I wanted to write it!

Due to changes within the house we got a 2 bedroom flat empty,currently we got three different english speakers ( families and singles) living in the house

3.5 is the top one in the middle with the double large balcony and the 3.5 ground floor flat is ,2nd patio from right.


Currently we got a few native english speakers living here.For me it's important to get people to live here who like to live in a house where the neighbours talk to each other and interact with each other and the general tone is a very friendly, even familiar one.


We are preferring non smokers!!

Hi - I'm REALLY SORRY if I sound stupid asking you this, but how far is Biel/ Bienne from Lausanne? I know I could look on a sitemap, but perhaps better asking someone actally living there whether it would be at all viable living in the area and commuting to EPFL.

Apartments sound exactly right and we would suit your profile of the 'ideal tenant'.

aye,it'd be a tad too far it's around 110 km or a little more than an hour by direct train.

People working in in the region of Bern/Burgdorf/Solothurn/Neuchâtel would best profit from where we're situated

sadly my last english speaking neighbours have now left our house for a bigger flat and thus we have again TWO flats for rent and I'd very much like english speaking tenants ( the landlady,me, is a voluntary relocation helper so you'd get more than just a flat LOL)


One is a 3 bedroom flat, with two bathrooms and a large balcony.....rent is 1'500.- plus 220.- charges, and if needed a place in the large garage is available for one car at 120.- and a double space is 200.-CHF
