Hi all

After being in Zurich a few weeks, and me having been offered a few jobs, my fiance gets offered a job in Lausanne. So, we are moving over there (Probably tomorrow!). I am having a problem finding short term accomodation in that area (may have to stay in a hotel for the first few days), does anyone have any ideas?

We are currently paying CHF2,100 for a shoebox in Zurich, so anything around that would be our budget.

If you still need something, then you could try OK Logements, where you can rent a shoe-box in Lausanne for 2100 CHF per month (yep, its a complete rip-off, but justifiable if there is no other choice).
