Howdy! I'm looking for a short-term, 2+ room furnished house/apartment in Zurich for myself+wife+kids during the months of July and August of this year. Target monthly rate of $2500, but i'm certainly flexible depending on location and the facilities.

I do prefer to be on the East/North side of the Lake, not too far from Central/Neiderdorf area - however, beggars can't be choosers.

I've poked around homegate and a few others, but my friend in zurich pointed me in this yonder direction for possibilities..

just a thought - do you have a place somewhere in the US to potentially do a house-swap? Someone might be interested in that but it seems a bit long-term.

Worth a shot though, as a sweetner.

yeah, we would be vacating our own home during this time and I debated posting about a house-swap. But i think we're too wary about opening our home to 'strangers' - i know, it sounds hypocritical.. But for now, we'd rather just leave it vacant or have family/friends watch over it.

who knows. maybe a group of elderly nuns needs a place near seattle or something..

ok, a little 'update' to bump this thing a bit.

We're still looking for a place and are willing to house-swap - ours is a 4br, 2.5ba + Den + loft, 3 car garage 2 story home aprox 2600sq ft in a great community within the Bothell/Mill Creek suburb of Seattle, Wa.
