My wife and I moved into Zurich just about a week back and are currently staying at a serviced apartment at Seefeld. We are searching for a good 2 bedroom apartment in Kreis 1/2/5/6/7/8 for a max. budget of 3000(unfurnished) - 3500 (furnished). And we need to definitely move into the new place by 1st May (max 15th!!!!).

I was in a somewhat similar situation with an even shorter timeframe not long ago. ;-) I posted on WGzimmer.ch, giving my price range and a short description of myself. I wound up getting a fair number of calls from people that wanted to let a single room (one of which I wound up accepting) as well as several people who wanted to let their entire apartment, so you may find something to suit your needs there.

However, my situation was unique because at the time I wasn't sure how long I'd be staying. If you're going to be here for a while (i.e. 1 year or more) then a site like www.homegate.ch or something might help more.

Does the apartment definately need to be in Zurich itself? There is one around the corner from me here in Langnau am Albis not even a 5 minute walk from the S4 train stop...
