Desperately seeking our new home in Zürich!

Hi all

My husband and I are looking for a 2.5-3.5 room flat in Zürich to move into as soon as possible. We haven't had any luck through the regular channels (homegate, immoscout etc, etc).

If anyone knows of a flat in Zurich that is free or will become available soon (for around CHF 2000), or anyone at all who might be able to help, please do let me know.

Did you try www.dominozh.ch? She sometimes gets places before they're put on homegate and other sites. That's how we found out apartment.
There's a small fee for having them search for you, and then you pay a percentage of the first months rent (don't remember how much) once you get a place. A bit more expensive than finding your own of course but if they really manage to find something you like it might be worth it.
She's also really friendly and speaks perfect english (think she might be brittish).

Sorry I don't of any free apartments at the moment.

Hi

We have an apartment in 4.5 room (3 bedrooms) in Maur, 8124 which is on Greifensee lake. The bus stop is close by: 747 (to Kluzplatz) and 743 (to Stettbach). If you interested let me know. It is not yet on Homegate.ch, but will be posted during this weekend.

What do you class as "right in Zurich". If you give it the definition I would, I think you will either need to upgrade your budget or downgrade your expectations.

I can personally recommend for zurich to look up on www.privera.ch - I am living now in one of their homes and my experience is that they are very friendly and offer some cheap and really nice homes..only thing is, not sure how much in the city center they are going to be..?
