To create true stereo sound, studios used artificial heads with microphones where the ears are.

This set uses your own head and puts the microphones in your ears, making them look like you are listening to music.

Your recorder must have a phantom supply, although the exact voltage seems to be fairly flexible.

Comes with two sets of spare buds (unused, I promise!)
