Posting a reply here, as i could not update my original post.
The information below is to help other people who might be interested in this. The information is based on queries sought by EF'ers for this post and the same is consolidated below..
- This cannot be used in airplanes as it does not have a FAA sticker.
- This is not a carry around car seat with the child in it. It can be used only within the car.
- For the infants (0 - 10 Kg) group, as rear facing, the seat has a slider which allows it to be in an almost reclining position to allow infant comfort. There are 3 levels of reclining positions.
- The recomendation from experts (http://www.aap.org/advocacy/releases/carseat2011.htm) is to keep a child rear-facing atleast until 2 yrs or for the maximum period mentioned by the manufacturer. (In this case 10 Kg)
- PicK Up would be in Zürich.
