Passed last MFK with no repairs. Last service (in August) found no problems either.

Starts perfectly, runs perfectly, very good condition. I'd take it to Sydney with me if it fit in my hand luggage.

Really sorry to tell you ... but the car is more than 10 years old and the MFK is more than 1 year old.. so it's ownership cannot be transferred until a new MFK is carried out. Ridiculous restriction in my humble opinion.. but hopefully I'm saving you from some grief later on...

Will that restriction apply also to cars sold "for export"?
(Which in most of the cases is the only option for such cars...)

Just curious, we have a car in a similar price/age range that don't really know how to deal about/with it. Perhaps is better to wait til next MFK check.. though it might be better to sell for export. A Dilema.

I just spoke to someone at the Strassenverkehrsamt. I don't need to get an MFK to sell the car. You can drive the car for 4 weeks, but have to get an MFK within that time.

That being the case, I'm prepared to drop the price for someone to take the car as is. I leave the country next friday, so I'm not sure if I can get an MFK in time. As I said in the posting, it passed its last MFK a year ago with nothing to be fixed and was serviced two months ago.

Whats the deal with the different style wheels? Does the clutch work smoothly? How long have you owned the car? Interested.

The different style wheels is just the hubcaps. They didn't match when I bought the car.

The clutch is very smooth. The car is in great working order. I have owned the car for a little over a year - basically as long as I've been in Switzerland. I bought it from a dealer in Oerlikon.
