Due to changes in regulations where I live (Kanton Zug), we can't view Sky anymore and will need to deactivate my subscription by end of Feb 2012.

The following equipment is available for sale:

- SKY TV HD Box (currently 10 months old) + Remote
- SKY TV Dish Antenna (~6 years old).

Combined asking price CHF 300. All equipment is functioning well.

If you buy them, you will need to get a professional to install it for you. I can provide a contact, will cost ~CHF 250-300 in wiring & installation charges if you live in the Zurich area. You will also need to get yourself a Sky TV & HD Subscription (as that's unfortunately not transferable).

whats the changes in regulation as i know a lot of people in Zug also with dishes?

Apparently, we're not supposed to have dish antennas in our Balconies any more. May be specific to the Gemeinde I live in, but am not too sure at this time. All we know is dishes are off the balconies by March.

you may not need to sell..... check a bit more because as long as the dish can not be seen from the road then in general its fine.

there are different options with the rectanglular dish or by using a balcony screen to "hide" the dish.

Thanks for the note. Have thought about that, but it's a peculiar place I live in :-). Lots of retirees, who have rather strong opinions. The convenience of where we live outscores any desparate need to have Sky. Regulations being one thing, we've also decided it might be a good opportunity to wean ourselves away from TV and spend more time with our toddler.

Alternatively, how much for the toddler ?
