Anyone have a mini fridge they would like to rent out for a week or sell? I need a bit of extra space for some food stuffs.

Size and depth help. I am discouraged in buying something I probably don't have any use for after a week from now. Do these mini fridges also have mini freezer space within them?

Seriously, it's winter, no need to buy something or rent for a few days. Use the balcony..many things can handle being outside for a few days and not everything that's kept in the average fridge needs to be, many can handle being kept in room temperature for days.
Once this cold snap passes it will again be near freezing or just above and anything that requires refrigeration will handle being in a box on your balcony for a few days or even a week or two.

If you're concerned about bottled sauces that say refrigerate after opening, or things like veggies, your cellar is nice and cool this time of the year, they will hold up nicely for a week or so down there to free up room in your fridge.

Well to answer you, I'll be having a party in a very small apartment. I am already converting the balcony into a warm space to take on more people. Using the balcony will mean piling food into an area where people will be also trying to sit, and most definitely smoking. The basement won't work, because, in the case of the building where the apartment is, and actually everywhere I have lived with cellar space in the winter it is warm, and in the summer it is cool. My cellar is so warm I had to buy a wine fridge to properly maintain my wine.

I do have some extra space in the kitchen under the table. Which will be best for a fridge there. It's a party that will last from 2 in the afternoon til as late as possible. Since most of the food will be small bites, I rather do 95% of the prep work the day before, and just un wrap the finished cold bites, and quickly heat the to-be warm ones. It's not that I don't want to be catering all day, but I am also mixing drinks, and amongst other things, would like to limit my running around, crossing over people, and kitchen mess. Adding a mini fridge, or mini freezer(maybe), will help me with my organization and timing. As I would like to enjoy the people coming over a bit too.

Plus, I have done a lot of dinner parties, aperos, etc on my own, not to mention it's my profession. I appreciate your trying to help, but I want a mini fridge for this event.

i have a broken fridge that you can have. the freezer compartment still works. maybe the freezer bit can keep the whole thing cool enough for a day. or maybe you can fill it up with ice

How nice of you. But having a whole one sounds like a whole lot of work.

if it's just for one day, could you simply use a cool box filled with ice?

I have a little fridge that I used in a previous apartment. There is a tiny freezer included as well. I live in Thalwil. Let me know if you want it (PM please).

Not in this case. The food is already purchased, and some in the fridge, some on the terrace. Now I start doing the prep and 1/2 assembling of the food, the day of I finish everything off, and since there is a lot to do that including picking people up from the air port, the food should be in an almost done state.

If it was simply a matter of keeping a bag of chicken on ice that would work. Everything needs to be on an even surface, and the kitchen is tiny.

So to finish, the cold foods have to be to the point where I add a garnish, and the warm foods, popped in the oven, dropped in the deep fryer, or set a' blaze, then garnished and to the table.

It might've been easier to make a big roast, and side dishes, but since the apartment is so small there is not enough room for the people invited to sit at a table or around the apartment for a dinner. So we instead have made an all afternoon, evening small bites where people can roam, but also get full.

Ice box won't work on this occasion.
