Re: [For Sale]BMW 330i Sedan[Geneva]

1) 50-59k? Really? I can't find a single 2010 model at that price. a Sept 2011 car for 57k. However a Feb 09 car is up for 45k.
2) Pictures!!
3) Alpine White and no M-Pack - not a great combination. Trust me, I have an Alpine White car of the same vintage!!
4) Pictures?
5) Have you tried part exchange with the garage?
6) Pictures!?!
7) No Xenon lights - seriously??
8) Pictures??!!

-no Xenon’s so what I don’t have any on my 325xi much cheaper to change the light bulb and I don’t blind all the other road users or get a filthy car every time I clean my window due to the light sprayer thing. Owe and the car was 3k cheaper better spend on the M Teck kit.
-I have never understood why people are so concerned about other people selling cars when they are not even interested in buy the said car this forum is really quite a nasty place to be a seller. + Cars in GE are more expensive than the rest of CH.

Sorry, bro. All the pictures will be uploaded lately, tonight or tomorrow morning. Becasue I am in the office now and my photos are at home.

As to the price, I have compared to the BMW Occasions online and also the autoscout24 and car4you and so on. here are the links for example:
BMW 330i 67'800 CHF 16'000 Km
http://www.car4you.ch/bmw/3er-serie-e90-lim/3603104/fr
of course it has a M package. But for the M package, it only cost 2000 CHF for me to update.

I have never tried part exchange with the garage. In fact, I did once want to have the performance package from a garage in Germany, they offer me a great discount of 25% off of the original price of performance bumper front and rear, side skirt, 19'' rim with Runflat tyres, but it will spend me 4 days in their garage. If you want to have the update equipment, I can contact them for you

No Xenon lights, much cheaper for the change of the bulbs. And in the very beginning, my dealer told me that if my Xenon light have problems in the future, I have to change both together, which leads me to have the Halo instead.

Anyway, thank you for your comment. Pics soon come!

That might be so, but what would motivate a potential buyer to pay more just because the car is from GE, when he can drive 30km in any direction and get it cheaper?

Good luck with the sale!

Ah good, glad we got that miss understanding cleared up, you don't want to lose money but you are quite happy for somebody here to get a lousy deal.

You'll be lucky to get Chf 35k for this car

Re: [For Sale]BMW 330i Sedan[Geneva]

come on, it is only a two years' old car, the price should not shrink so much, even in the market. You can call the BMW garage to ask for the price of a similar car, I believe the price will add 3000-5000 at least.

I just want to control my lost and if any buyer, I mean those who really want to buy the car, if he/she think that this price is too high to afford, he/she can give me his offer. I did not mean to force anyone to pay for my loss, the sale are based on negotiation, isn't it?

I have my expectations, although expectation not always equal reality.

just to add my two cents, the f30, a new 3-series will be on the market from Saturday, so prices will drop significantly. And 35-38kCHF seems to be maximum price, but good luck with the sale.

Re: [For Sale]BMW 330i Sedan[Geneva]

Thank you for your suggestion. To me, 45000 CHF is my highest expectation, but price can be lower if someone really want to buy the car.

As you said, the new 3-series soon to come out, and the base price for a 4-turbo 328 will be 51000 CHF, and if added some equipment, which will make it around 60000 CHF. If someone want to buy F30, I suggest him to wait till july, the M Sport F30 will come out then, much more beautiful than the Feb Version.

Re: [For Sale]BMW 330i Sedan[Geneva]

I do not agree with Arran calling the forum a nasty place. I bought my car from an EF member and he lied big time. But it is not the forum but the person. It is a sad that there are members that do it but it is the buyers responsibility to be careful. (I wasnt )
On the other hand here we have a forum veteran with a wrong attitude that is not helping. I had one of my posts edited being told to be nice and it was not even close to the attitude of dodgyken. So...be nice, helpful and positive...and use smileys.

AND...yes...there are BMWs without xenons!

Good luck with your sale!

Thank you, I understand the importance of different opinions.

I am only a private seller, not a robber or gangster to steal or rob other's money. Since it is my first time to sell a car, and i need your valuable advices.

BTW,it is also my pain not to have the Xenon. However, the Philips CrystalVision bulbs works ok, but not as ok and fancy as Xenon.

I too find it pretty annoying with the local car selling police patrolling these ads. The seller can advertise it as they want, with or without information (such as pics) and price it as they wish. I would understand if an interested buyer would be questioning these things but it is the same people who are not even involved in the transaction.

If you're blinding other road users then you should have your car's headlights properly adjusted. Xenon or not.

As has been mentioned before - this is the a FORUM - anyone/everyone is free to make comments. If buyers don't want that, then they can advertise on autoscout (or the like) - whereupon they'll find out, without advice, the market value (and view) of their car - including specification, colour choice and price.

There are a number of users of EF who have considerable experience at buying, selling and importing cars - and judging by the number of PMs I receive on these matters - it helps other members to make the right choice.

In this instance - the E90 330i is a very nice car. The colour/spec combination isn't ideal - white without the M-pack isn't as visually appealing as others. Xenons are also a VERY popular option - making cars without it harder to shift. On the flipside, parking sensors front and rear were a great option choice - as was the upgraded navi (Professional) - and a sunroof is definitely a worthwhile option (IMHO). The 330i engine is a cracking unit - powerful (272ps) and economical (9.0l/100km should be easily achievable - most probably better on the motorway). It lacks the low/mid range muscle of the 335 - and also the 330d - which was considerably more popular.

In summary - it is a great car - but it is not a popular one - making valuing it harder - especially if you want to upgrade/sell quickly.

My advice is to go to a BMW dealer - look at an X5 - and get a price from them for yours.

Yep its a forum, but in some cases sellers are literally hounded over minor issues that matter to you and not others. Go right ahead and do so, but please just note that it does come across as being over the top and dictatorial to the seller.

I do understand if the seller is providing an outrageous claim which is a rip off, but for the every day seller, who provides reasonable information it is, in my opinion, too much.

Re: [For Sale]BMW 330i Sedan[Geneva]

I do not mean to ask for too much, I just offer the price based on the market informations at the very beginning. I also apologize for the misunderstanding I've made. As some of the comments pointed out, the equipments is not so popular, however, I can't produced another car to sell.I just want to sell the car, if possible, while avoiding too much loss.

Based on the suggestions that been made by many friends here, now the price goes to 41000 CHF, if anyone really want to buy it, please PM me. I do not want to sell it to the garage, as many of you may know, the price they offer will be lower than private sale, since it is a "business" to them which needs to bring them profits.

Once again, I really appreciate the assistance provided by the friends here.

BMW 330i 41000CHF
