Looking for not expensive furniture

Hi! I'm a PhD student. I'm moving to Zurich in the middle of November. I found the apartment to stay from the 1st of December. So I need furniture very much. Could you offer something nice but not very expensive? Thak you very much in advance.

There is one in Dietlikon (not DIETIKON) and one in Spreitenbach
both are easily accessible via public transport from Zurich. I prefer the store in Spreitenbach, it seems better laid out.

Re: Looking for not expensive furniture

You could also try visiting a Brockenhaus or Brocki, they sell second hand furniture and all sorts, for bargain prices! Good luck with the move

Re: Looking for not expensive furniture

If I remember right the nearest tram stop is Manesseplatz.
Here's their website:

The Heilsarmee (Salvation Army) over by Hardbrücke is also good, particularly for dishes:

Welcome to the forum - and to Zürich! Great that you've found an apartment already... that seems to be the hardest part of the move for most people.

Can you guide me where can I find warm readymade curtains for windows or blinds in Zurich and the possible site if you have for the same?

Hi,

We are moving and may have some items of furniture that you may be interested in - reasonably priced or make us an offer.
