Hello All.

My roommate and I are moving back to the USA at the end of January. We have a lot of furniture, electronics, and kitchen supplies to sell. Everything has been purchased here in Switzerland new in the past year. We live in Luzern. There is a lot to list. So my question is: are we better off to list each item with picture and price here on EnglishForum and SwissClassifieds, or should we do a moving sale (similar to a Yard Sale in the USA)? Opinions on this would be most appreciated.

I was just wondering what you have for sale? Me and my boyfriend live in Luzern and are in need of a few things! Can you give me a list of items / prices? I think it is best to list the items as it lets others see what you have and how much you want for them!

Advertise where ever you want but just keep in mind that englishforum and swissclassifieds are not affiliated. Do not use one site to direct sales or traffic to the other.

You know I don't think I've ever seen a yard sale in Switzerland.. are they even allowed here..? Unfortunately most Flee Markets (Flohmarkt) are done during the fair weather seasons and not the dead of winter.

They have weekly flee markets In Geneva, maybe if you check the newspapers, etc, in your area, for similar events, you might get rid of it all.
List your items in the forum under for sale, pictures are a good help too.
