I'll be leaving Switzerland just before Christmas and have a car which I would like to sell.

It's a 1997 Opel Astra 1.6 which I bought from a car dealer in Allschwil back in February of this year, at which point it was fresh from the MFK and that gas test (whatever its name is). It has c. 120000km, 7k of which I put up on it since I bought it (very very little!). It comes with summer and winter tyres which were new at the time of the purchase (and so are still in very good condition).

While the car was still covered under warrenty, the alternator acted up and was replaced. Apart from that, the car has given me no trouble whatsoever.

With regard to price, I paid CHF6500 for it - somewhat over the odds, I have been told. However the car is in very good nick. In any case, I will let it go for substantially less than that.
