Hi all,

anyone collect 'older' game systems, or just likes to relive the good old days of gaming? I have a Nintendo Gameboy, original size, but with a clear plastic casing. It comes with 5 games: Tetris, Zelda, star wars, soccer and golf. Complete with a clear plastic travel case. I'll even through in a set of batteries .

Showimg my ignorance now, but does it play gameboy advance games? father Xmas brought one for our daughter a couple of years ago while we lived in BKK, obviously games are very cheap there. On arrival in this country, she had it, two weeks later she had lost it. I woudn't mind replacing it for her as we still have about 10 games.

Sorry, it doesn't play GBA cartridges.

Thanks for that Nathu, in addition I just re read it and it appears it runs on batteries. I've a nasty recollection of one of my sisters children using packets and packets of batteries for their gameboy. That would have been about 10 years ago.

In defense of the old Gameboy, they used little enough energy to run on the rechargeable batteries of the time.

Tetris is the ideal game for number two sessions.

Who would have thought that my post trying to sell an old gameboy would turn into a medical discussion! Though I agree, Tetris does help with a no. 2 session
