Looking to buy sewing machine for beginner, hopefully before October 10.

There are lots of beginer sewing machines for sale at quite low prices. Check the related threads listed below. Then try Manor, Fust, Coop Cite,. They each have good entry level Brother or Singer machines.

There are lots of used sewing machines for sale at La Bonne Combine (in Malley).

Check this inventory list to see what they currently have in stock (look for the French, machine a coudre). This shop also offers a warranty on used items, which is a definite plus.
