I've bought the ticket earlier but for some reason I might not be able to travel. The cost of the ticket is CHF 119.97 (including taxes)
I am looking for CHF 100 or best offer. Hopefully some might like to go back and visit family/friends during the above mentioned period.

Just as a matter of interest, are tickets transferable nowdays what with increased security etc ?

what happens, would the ticket/booking be re-issued under another name?

I just ask because some carriers can be really fussy over the spelling on the ticket and the passport and if they don't match exactly they can be really petty.

As far as I know, tickets are NOT transferrable between different passengers and generally never were (even before eTickets and increased airline security).

All the OP can do is pay the charge to change it to a different, more suitable date for themselves. Anyone 'buying' the ticket is going to be disappointed when they get to the airport and could potentially even find themselves explaining to airport security why they are trying to use a different name on their ticket than what is on their passport.

You can change names on Easyjet tickets so long as it's done in advance. However, they charge 41 francs (processed online) or 47 francs (processed over the phone), plus any fare difference. see here.

So this 100 franc ticket will end up costing the buyer at least 141 francs, and potentially more if the price of the seat has gone up...

I guess I'll just throw away this ticket then... no worries ...
