GPS Bluetooth receiver newest SiRF3 chipset.

Price = CHF 99.95 each. You won't find cheaper, indeed, retail prices are more than CHF 200.

Email me at <snip> and I will provide payment details. Postage by B-Post Einschreiben (recorded delivery) at Sfr 7.50. Included is a UK / Commonwealth 3 pin travel adaptor.

a) no email addresses in posts please

Re: GPS Bluetooth receiver newest SiRF3 chipset.

Its a GPS Reciever. It then connects to your mobile devices over bluetooth. They are cool toys thats about it, tested a few at work. They GPS reception is normally pretty crappy. Using bluetooth constantly, sucks the battery dry of mobile devices too.

If you want GPS, get a device with it intergrated IMHO.

Thanks for your endearing answer.

A) ok if that's the forum rule
B) this is non commercial, meaning they are not being sold sold in conjuntion with a business. Thanks for using the term "knock-off", on what basis did you feel the need to make this remark? Comments like that can be very damaging, as a 6 star super moderator, I would expect you to behave by the same rules as you have on so many occasions asked others to do.

So, anyone interested, send me a PM, and I'll send you all the details along with proof of my credentials.

Best regards,

Simon

This GPS unit has the newest SIRF3 chipset, meaning it is senistive enough to receive a singnal inside buildings. If you want to leave it inside your boot or glove compartment, it will also have no problem receiving the signal. You use the bluetooth for as long as you need the navigation, besides, a car charger is included and battery life on these units is up to 12 hours. For someone already owning a PDA or Smartphone (Microsoft or Nokia System 60 or above), this is a cheap way to get a sat-nav system.

Simon, not to speak for Lob, he's well capable of speaking for himself! What most members of the forum don't see or understand is the we moderators are constantly battling against spam. People sign up then post crap all over the place, we are constantly fighting against it. The fact that your post was not instantly deleted means that you were given a huge benefit of doubt which from your side may seem petty and ridiculous but from our side is quite a big deal as we do not want the forums turning into a commercial junk yard which has no benefit to our members. The way your ad looked just happened to look like a lot of the spam that we delete without hesitation.

Re: GPS Bluetooth receiver newest SiRF3 chipset.

Simon, I only have 5 stars but you have to admit your "ad" appeared to be somewhere over near spam. Forgive me for doubting you but your product summary was vague and you're offering something "cheap".

Lou is absolutely correct in her summary.

And thanks for understanding that email addresses in the posts are for your good as much as anything else. People can click on your name about the post and email you, of course
