three things:
1. Admiral that you've rated your sale thread a 5-star thread. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
2. Your codefree player - I think they're 39 francs right now in the stores
3. Why not put prices up here and if people want to look at the pictures, they can click-through to your web?

Re: Large rug/carpet, etc. in Basel

1) I liked the pretty little stars that show up next to the thread title. I see other people have them and I was just plain jealous.

2) Really? Please post the link where I can find a brand-new codefree player for under 50 CHF? All the shops I've been too charge anywhere from 50-100 CHF just for the service to program the player codefree -- in addition to buying the player.

3) To your third question, I don't have an answer. I just made it that way. Not everyone can be as perfect as you, your royal highness.

39 francs in Media Markt; code-free. And don't pay to make them code-free - many have handset hacks.

And I was actually only suggesting showing prices because people potentially won't click-through. But GFY anyway

Re: Large rug/carpet, etc. in Basel

Sorry Lob, but I didn't think that my posting of a few goods for sale warranted any necessary response or comments. Why belittle me and question the pricing, when that can only have negative results?

By the way, I've already had 4 responses for the DVD player, so 3 were turned down. I'm still waiting for your link to the advert for 39CHF.

Also, you know very well what GFY means. In fact, on the bottom of your profile is a link that says "WTF??!" and links to:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._slang_phrases

GFU - Good for you
GFY - Go f*** yourself

With over 2,800 posts in 15 months, you really must have a lot of time on your hands. Perhaps if you got out a little more often you wouldn't be so bitter.

Maybe if you read his post

Check: code-free DVD players can be bought from MM for 39 francs
MM = media markt and you can phone them to find out

Re: Large rug/carpet, etc. in Basel

Out of curiosity, I went there for lunch today. I can confirm that there were no DVD players for less than 50CHF, and certainly no codefree even close to that price. That's why I'm still waiting for his confirmation of this elusive 39CHF codefree player. Or admitting that he was completely incorrect with his original post.

Re: Large rug/carpet, etc. in Basel

Well, I stand corrected that one exists, though Media Markt (Basel) didn't have a 39CHF codefree player.

The one I've sold originally cost 139CHF, so perhaps there is a difference in quality.

Re: Large rug/carpet, etc. in Basel

Sheesh.

I have deleted a lot of posts from this thread that are completely off topic, snarky, etc.

Let's keep it to the items for sale, please.

BTW, I bought a under 50 CHF DVD player from both Migros and Manor. The Migros lasted about a year and when it died it was under warranty - I received a full refund of my purchase price. The Manor one still has another year on warranty and is going just fine.
