| | | [Zurich] Brand new MBT shoes - Size 41(women), and Size 45(men)
After seeing, and hearing numerous people rave about the many benefits of wearing MBT shoes, hubby and I decided to adopt the "healthier walking lifestyle". We both purchased a pair each, but have been postponing wearing it forever. Apparently you need to train yourself before wearing them all day..and walk slowly to let your body adapt initially etc. We havent really gotten about doing that, so decided to sell it off. The pictures are attached with this post.
Both the pairs were around 300 CHF each. Not sure how much people would be willing to pay so you can make your offers starting 150CHF a pair. These have never been worn, and I have the training DVD with it too.
P.S. EF only allows 5 pics per post, so the men's shoes will be in the next post.
Correction - the men's shoes size is 45, not 44. Dont know how to edit the subject line..Mods plz help!

If you want you can come to my place with them and i can help you learn how to walk in them |

Hi Sutter, thanks so much for the offer..thats very nice of you. You know I must tell you, it was when you had started a thread saying that you bought your MBTs, and recommended it, that was the first time I heard about MBTs..I read the entire thread and was almost convinced I would buy myself a pair. Then some office collegues bought it too, and then I went ahead myself. I've had these for almost 2.5 months and not a day when I could bring myself to wearing it..Its just that it sort of needs a bit of a lifestyle change - to walk slowly (which seems so difficult for me coz I am generally very fast in walking- my hubby observed that the only time he has seen me walking slowly is when I am window shopping outside those Chanel, Hermes and TODs stores at Bahnhofstrasse
So maybe I'll try these a few years (months?) later..for now i like the rush of being/walking in a hurry..in fact I am so used to it..
BTW, i really like it that you are one of the most active post'ers, and very generous too. I remember those Crunchy bars that you were giving away over Christmas/NY :-)

I wear mine in the gym and also on the running machine so you can wear them walking slow, or running You just need timew to get used to them and as soon as you are you will love them, like i do |

I am interested in these shoes for my sister who had a very serious accident nearly 20 years ago. It's only now that the situation is getting much more serious for her. She has had nerve damage, and now it's so bad that she is losing some sensation in her legs. She will have to have an operation but is living with the problem, having to continue to move, walk and work, whilst she is on the waiting list.
I have suggested these shoes to her but she can't justify the expense that she can't really afford for something that she may not even be able to use. (No doctor suggested that these shoes could help, I just think that if she can work the muscles in the back in a gentle way she may have some relief - but I could be very wrong.)
I'd love to get her some of these shoes but I really can't afford a new pair either.
I don't know if, as you suggest, there can be some sort of bidding action over the shoes you want to sell. You'll probably have to name a price and be done with it.... Or, I could just offer you 100 for them (I know you want more for them but that's all I could offer) and see what happens.
Thanks
deborah

So, did you sell these? Did you sell them to the highest bidder? Some of us are waiting. With baited breath.

Hi I-b-deborah. No havent sold them..Actually I didnt get any offers, and giving away brand new shoes for less than 1/3rd the price - I am not quite up for it. I guess I'll take Sutter's advice, and try them out after all!

deborah | | | | | Deborah is your sister living in Switzerland? If so which insurance does she have because some pay upto 90% of the MBT shoes (mine didn`t pay a penny , but that is sanitas for you ) if you let me know her insurance i can ask at the MBT center if that insurance will pay towards them.
If that fails have alook here http://www.uk.best-price.com/product...ID=27391961031 they have some cheap ones |
