It's the white one - 339 new. It's only about 8 months old, and I'll take a reasonable offer

Your market here is people who can't afford to spend CHF299 on a sofa in IKEA.

That market will therefore offer a maximum of 100CHF, but probably more like 50CHF... regardless of how unfair that seems, regardless how new you think it looks.

Therefore, be a sport and give it away.

That will save you the hassle of throwing it over your balcony on to the street with a sign saying ... "I know that secondhand IKEA is not the best offer you'll get today, but I stitched 100CHF into the fabric so please take it away with you".

Incidentally, I also love that fact that my insulting your second-hand IKEA sofa led you to think that I would want to buy it.

As it is IKEA I am sure that I am insulting half of the western world by insulting that sofa.

But come on... anyone ending up with that thing is hardly gonna have a Tom Cruise sofa jumping moment.

General rule for IKEA was, is, and shall for ever more be thus.

Second hand IKEA trades at 40%-60% of the new price.

You may as well price it there rather than initially far too high and then have to look desperate reducing it 3 times. CHF200 O.B.O should get the job done.
