[Offering] Strong Boxes for moving

We just received a container load of furniture and household goods today and have begun the mammoth task of unpacking and organizing our apartment....

We are therefore obviously well stocked with strong & sturdy cardboard boxes, what to do?

Is there anyone out there that might be moving soon or even interested in boxes for storage?

We have 2 different types of boxes - Cardboard Removals boxes (free) & Strong cardboard Banana boxes with lids (1.50 CHF each)

Give me a shout.........

To collect from Wädenswil

Re: Strong Boxes for moving

Well let's see :

The boxes pictured (attached images) (Free) are different sizes. Some +\- 40cm width - 60cm height. Others +\- 40cm width - 40cm height.

The Bananna boxes are around +\- 60cm long - 50cm Deep.

Hope that helps

Cheers

Re: [Offering] Strong Boxes for moving

Right, I've now hunted for this thread.

I don't suppose anyone has a spare 6 -8 boxes about 4 sq feet?

I'll head down to Migros now and ask of course.

cheers

Here is my original post which was swiftly crushed by our chief mod....

(May seem a strange question but does anyone know where I can buy decent sized sturdy cardboard boxes (in flat pack form)?

I'm moving out next week and the company (Allfreight) who did my move out to Zurich 18 months ago have told me at the last minute that they can't deliver the packaging in advance over here (they obviously subcontract) but they will still collect, deliver and store etc. With a bank holiday coming up I'm quickly running out of time so it's best I stick with them and get my own boxes.

The Post Office does them but they're not big enough.

Do I have to make the hellish journey to Killwangen Spreitenbach and visit Ikea?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
