I am selling a set of four original CDs from Swiss Topo. This mapping software is extremely powerful and fun and the CDs that I have are:
1. Western Switzerland
2. Bern
3. Central Switzerland
4. Eastern Switzerland

This is perfect software for making your own high quality topographical maps and also allows you to import tracks and waypoints from your GPS.

There are 8 CDs, but I am only selling four.
They sell for 178 chf each and I am selling these four together for 400 chf and that includes shipping.

Looks like a typo, as I am pretty sure that you are not selling two copies of the Western Switzerland map

So, out of curiosity, what is the fourth map?

What are the dates of the map editions?

The discs have different dates: 2005,06 and 07.
They are the original discs and will search for updates automatically when installed.

Looking at the Swisstopo website it looks like the updater is for the software only, not the maps - have I understood that right? i.e. If I buy your 2005/6/7 versions and take whatever free updates, I still have 2005/6/7 maps, albeit with the latest software version to view them.
This is not negative, it's what I would expect - would be fantastic if got new maps as well but unlikely.

If you go to the page below you will see that it is stated that the updates are good for all Swiss Map products.

Still, if you're serious about purchasing the product, I'll be happy to call Swiss-topo and confirm what I strongly believe to be the case, (each time I go on line I get updates).

It's just the software the updates not the maps. When there's been a major map revision, so far only the 1:50k I think, a new version has been released with existing customers offered a discount.

Only the software gets updated; the maps do not and are, in some cases, quite old. See State of Updates which gives the date for each underlying 1:25,000 map.
