I think Fr.50 is too much for an external DVD reader and writer esp. for a 2nd hand, older one.

Update:
I see the price has been changed from (Fr.50) to a more reasonable price (Fr.30).
The comment above, I meant well for those who might buy it. Why are there groans?

Wow thanks for the groan hkang, how pettey are you?? I notice you changed your post too, from tyring to sell your own dvd writer to the guy who posted here about mine. idiot.

just to clarify, the groans where because your original post stated it was too expensive (before you even knew what make and model it was) and then went on to try to sell your own dvd writer to

the groan was because you were complaining about the price then trying to sell your DVD reader cheaper BEFORE you conveniently edited your post...

Re: Various stuff for sale, zurich

I am getting a lot of pm's about the bike, all asking what make / model it is

Sorry I don't know! the only markings on the frame are what you can see in the pics a french flag (I think) 2 letter and 3 numbers (AT-380)

We bought 2 of them from the uk about 18 months ago (maybe a bit less), one for my wife and 1 for guests to use, but as none ever have its just been sitting there. The main critera when we bought them was full suspension and disc brakes not make and model.

There is also another mountain bike (you can just about see in the picture) that is a known brand (although I can't remember which) that I bought 2nd hand when I first arrived, that needs to go to 50chf - has the following writing on the frame:
Top Fun (on the cross bar), active bike line, Pilot and CR-MO 4130 OMO LITE. - this ones now been sold, sorry

Response2:

I edited my post, bec. I noticed it had caused a misunderstanding.
My intention was not to prevent you from selling, but protect people who might be paying too much for your items.
Some of your items are overpriced when I checked them on Amazon: sold at around the new price, even if they are used.
(ex. PSP games, check individual titles)

I wanted to protect/do a favor for alfred007, bec. he had bought several items from me, but heavily bargained.
I was going to give him my Sony DVD reader & writer for free, not sell it to him.
I have only one, so there will surely be others who will be interested in purchasing your items.

I didn't want to write a clarification to my original post (above), but now it seems you give me no other choice.
If you had a problem, you could have pmed me and I would have been glad to explain or maybe even edit my post, but your
remarks and actions have forced me to be defensive.

Yes, I did check the make and model on Amazon and it is an older DVD reader & writer.
Newer ones from Liteon are 22x not 16x.
It is no longer sold by Amazon, but there is only one available through another store for Fr.86 (=$79*1.086).
I can give you the exact Amazon link if you are interested.

If the price of your item is now Fr.30, rather than Fr.50, then it is fair.
If the item is used, you should expect only to receive half, but Fr.50 is not half of Fr.86..
In principle, Fr.40 would have also been reasonable.

You wrote: "idiot"
I have no intention to call you names...
Hkang, stop editing, un-editing editing your post above, just write a new post so people can see an update in the thread

At the end of the day you tried to hijack someones sale whether you or I or others believe in your reasons. Others found it bad form - stop being a busy body in other peoples sales and stick to your own 'multiple' sale/free stuff threads

You deserved my groan but if you want to carry on groaning others because they picked up on your bad netiquette then carry on...

Re: Various stuff for sale, zurich

Hkang, if you would also check the psp titles you'll see they are mainly RARE jap import titles, which (if you can get them now, which is very very doubtful) they would cost you about £60 (so over 100chf), some of the other titles have some hidden 'features' that allow you to unlock psp's and so again are worth quite a bit.

I don't care what you think is 'reasonable'

Its obvious your a bored hosewife with far too much time on your hands, and just like to stick your nose into business you know nothing about, please stop visiting my thread and groaning at me like some sort of deranged stalker.

Thanks

LOL and true to form you visit and groan at me, tell me are you going to groan at all of my posts from now on??

Re: Various stuff for sale, zurich

My girlfriend and I visited bigblue and his wife today and tested both bikes, then bought the cheaper one. Thanks for a good deal!

I wanted to say (in case anybody is on the fence) that the red bike also looks like a good deal. It is exactly as advertised - basically in new condition. We opted for the cheaper one mostly because we are cheap!

hkangs reading interests include

Mechanics, Mathematics of Classical and Quantum Physics, The Large, the Small and the Human Mind (Penrose), LEGO Mindstorms Masterpieces

which are not images which come to our mind when we think of a bored housewife ....

we may not agree with the means but having said I can add that hkang knew the business as her post did encourage bigblue to bring prices down by almost 50% .... so thanks to hkang ..

Re: Various stuff for sale, zurich

not strictly true tho is it! you pm'ed a link to digitec.ch to check the model, then I saw just how much external dvd drives had fallen in price and adjust my price accordingly, it had absolutely nothing to do with hkang's interfering.

It also didn't stop you offening 50% of the new reduced price either did it?
