Hello folks,
does anyone know of anyone or anywhere in the Basel or Alsace region that has old rolls of carpet? Just moved into a new place with a huge basement (that will become my music room - e-drums, mini studio etc) that has just a bare concrete floor. I'd like to put some carpet down - not everywhere but at least a big part of the floorspace.

The room is about 4m by 6m.

any advice on where to find some old carpet would be greatly appreciated!!

I have bought several large carpets at the Brocki in St. Gallen. It is a second hand store, but the Brocki in St. Gallen sells the left over carpet that people have dropped off and the carpet is brand new and sells anywhere from
25 CHF-50 CHF. It's nice Berber carpet and comes in all different colors. I have never checked out a Brocki in the Basel region, but below are 2 sites where you can find Brocki's. They might also have carpets or rugs. If not, then it might be worth the drive to St. Gallen. Hope this helps and good luck!

For about €200 we got about 4x4m, sealed on the edges. Stops the kids from braining themselves on the tiled floor everytime they fall over....
