The Bench from the photos is for sale... Designed by myself, final construction and lacquer by Christian at Sitio. They further developed the design and included drawers for their retail model.

The finished lacquer is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It is heavy and very well constructed.

Retail price is between CHF 1000 - 1500, depending on finish.

Sure... I just wrote spec'd it out to an interested buyer:

The bench is 164cm long x 38cm tall x 32cm wide.

weight is unknown... Heavy, but certainly moveable for a single person.

Material is solid oak, with a metal plate that runs the length of the underside, for support (unseen).

Lots of people have asked me why I chose to lacquer beautiful solid oak.... and my reasoning was that I had so much natural wood furniture in the house... I wanted to add some bold colors to break-up the monotony. If one was so interested, they could easily sand and varnish the bench to reveal the wood's natural glory. Could be a fun weekend project.

Bench is 1-piece, does not disassemble.
