well I am cross. Really cross. The other standing ticket I got had a different entrance to these standing ones just released. I tried getting 2 and they only gave me one. They were gone when I refreshed.

Its going to be a loong night

Saw them in Berlin last summer, and in Copenhagen in 199x. Great show.

There are still 8 months to the concert, and I am sure more tickets will become available. You can always buy "VIP" tickets, they cost EUR 250.- the very vip tickets cost EUR 470.- I shelled out EUR 150.- for the Berlin concert - and tickets where being sold outside the stadium (no idea at what price).

It is more fun to scrounge the smaller venues for up and coming bands. Saw the White Stripes in Rote Fabrik the year they became famous. Volketshaus is also a good place. Mussolini made a famous speach there.

September the 9th is a Thursday. The concert is on September 11th which is a Saturday.

do check with you CC company as to how long after the charge you can dispute. You might find it is only six months....

The best way to get tickets for a concert of a band that you REALLY like is to sign up on their web-page.
Most pages are free to sign up for, on the other hand some, like U2, cost money.
I paid $50USD last Saturday Jan 23rd to sign up to be a U2 member for a year and got PRE-PRE ticket sales (yes even BEFORE Ticketcorner VIP presales!) on Tuesday the 26th at 3pm.
There was no waiting in line I just paid more than what most people would pay:
Total Service Fee: 16,10 (EUR)
Total Delivery Cost: 10,00 (EUR)
Total Ticket Cost: 142,10 (EUR)
plus my $50 USD membership fee...
but was guaranteed tickets.

MUSE in Bern on June 2nd - I bought two GOLDEN CIRCLE standing tickets by being signed up.

THEM CROOKED VULTURES - Same thing... saw one of the best concerts in my life in Portsmouth, England. THANK YOU HIGGY BABY for your tips!

You can also purchase Music, video's and merchandising on most band websites, for a fraction of what you would pay here and you are sure that the money is actually going to the band....

That's about 300 CHF.

What category ticket was it?

they are just regular standing tickets I think, unless the P3 means something special...

I'm happy with my purchase, yes I overpaid ... but was guaranteed tickets with no stress.... should I not be able to make it to the concert I'm sure one of the EF'ers would be happy to purchase them from me (at the price I paid of course).

That's just it, there was no Ticketcorner VIP pre-sale...so imagine my surprise last night when Blick am Abend were advising people to pay the CHF 49 "next time" to get priority.
Grrrrrr...

I had a lot of fun playing their website to get tickets that I'm not sure I'll use.

It was harder than last time when you simply had to use https for ticketcorner and miss the plebs queuing on http

It was also easier with a very fast internet connection.

Now....what's the URI for ricardo?

I know someone who would be grateful for your two standing - but not sure she could afford Ricardos 300CHF rate per ticket
