Re: Selling Cisalpino train tickets from Zurich HB to Milan and return

That's quite a good price in any case.

You should specify though, to make it clear:
  • Is it 30 CHF per direction (selling 4 tickets) or per round trip (selling 2 tickets)?
  • Are they Halbtax tickets, or can anybody use them?
As the second trip is a Zürich-Milano-Zürich round trip it'd be more useful for people in Italy than here. Maybe the original intent of the package was to go to Italy for one weekend, and then leaving the other ticket(s) with someone there to come to Switzerland the following weekend.

Also note that Cisalpino doesn't exist anymore per se, so strictly speaking these are just regular EuroCity tickets for SBB or Trenitalia operated trains. Not that it matters much for the trip (except perhaps more likely to be on time if it's SBB).

(I have since seen on a platform in Zürich HB the older ETR-470 Pendolini now repainted solely SBB branded. Supposedly there should also be FS/Trenitalia branded ones though I don't recall seeing one here yet.)
