Hello. I am just about to move from a shared flat to my own home in Lausanne. Because my furniture etc. is still in Germany and I am not sure when I'll be able to get it here ... I would be really grateful if you could see whether you may have some spare pieces of furniture (e.g. table and non-matching chairs) and maybe other stuff like plates, glasses etc. that you don't need anymore. If you don't have any luck from folks on the forum, make sure that you check out the Armée du Salut (Salvation Army) on Rue de la Borde, just up from Place du Tunnel in Lausanne. They have one section where you'll find all of the kitchenwares, and much else, and on the other side of the building is the entrance to the furniture section.

I have a glass & metal dining table with 6 chairs. if you want them, they're yours for the taking.
