I've owned this DSLR from new (bought in the UK) and never had any problems with it.

It's in very good condition and has always been handled with care. It has a very tiny (smaller than a millimeter) scratch on the display which was from a key.
However you will only notice this when the display is off and you take a very close look. It is almost unnoticable. Other than that the camera is in mint condition.

It has given me the joy of taking just over 15000 pictures for me.
I absolutely love it, and don't really want to give it away but I'm going to upgrade, so this has to go.

So you're finally taking the plunge . What's it going to be? A 7D?

@pari - It's about 3 years old, so I wouldn't think there's any warranty on it anymore. It never broke down on me so far though... and I only used the kit lens once. So that's definitely new.

@Slaphead - still undecided, the 7D is very pricey and the 550D is pretty much like a Baby-7D. Will decide once I've sold this 400D and how much will be left in my account at the end of the month.

I had a 40D (sold it 1.5 years after I bought it when I realised I wasn't taking it on holidays due to its size, and someone offered me the same money I paid for it) and it was a fantastic camera.

Much better feel, and better sound (I love mirror slap!) than the xxxD range in my opinion. So you could consider the 50D.

The 7D ... it's kind of like the 5D except without the only thing which makes the 5D worthwhile, the full frame sensor. Right? Honest question, I can't see the point of the 7D at the moment.
