don't be silly, any microwave cooks babies. You just have to poke holes in them first with a fork.

Does anyone have a babycook in good condition for sale?
Would pay postage or pick-up in ZRH area
I tried this out and hated it! The end that heats the water is a ***** to clean. Second I found that it had a horrible metallic odor and no cleaning could make that go away. I was so concerned something bad was going into my child's food. I purchased this.. http://www.babymoov.com/english/bebedelice-94.html

and it is just wonderful and super easy to clean. Only setback is if you have an issue with it their customer service is crap. My mixer bowl got dropped on the floor and cracked and I have tried multiple times to get in contact with them and still no replies, so my mixing portion is now useless.

Re: Wanted: Babycook [Zurich area]

anjulie - are you still looking for a babycook? perhaps not, as your kid now will likely be eating un-pureed food by now ...

but i do have a gently used (3 months) one that i'd like to sell ...

and for the record - this thread made me laugh out loud .. nice to know this sort of sick humor still makes me giggle even now that i have a kid ...

Re: Wanted: Babycook [Zurich area]

That is a typical thread to show our cultural differences on this Forum..as a French mum, I knew straight away what the OP was refering too.. I've got one myseld like the majority of the French mum I know hehe..it's actually the only thing I brought back in my luggage to China..the perfect life saviour for women like me who can't/ hate cooking.

Re: Wanted: Babycook [Zurich area]

Hey Olympe,
you're right. I loved it, frankly, I prefer not having to be in the kitchen while my vegetables boil, I just have better stuff to do - and with two kids I found it just extremely practical to use.

worthylakepix: Thanks for the offer, I found one earlier and now actually don't need it anymore, because our baby started eating solids.

but rereading this thread made me chuckle as well, there are lots of people with black humour....
