'10 Cycling Season is here, Road and SuperTouring bikes for sale ;)

The Spring is almost here and the Cycling season started from Paris to Nice. We can't wait to hit the roads ( even though I was all winter on my bike over snow and grime ;-) )

I have some road/supertouring/sportive touring bikes to offer for sale, that I know are suitable to the EF cycling Ethos.

They are 3 new bikes, built with all new parts (unless noted) , that you could have finished to your own fitting needs.

The three bikes are built with the following components
  • New MonoQ Aluminum 7005 Frames, with full carbon seatstays and forks. Frames have specially shaped tubes for more strenght on the downtube/ bottom bracket area. This frames are produced in Taiwan, imported painted and finished in Switzerland by Luongo Rennvelobau from Lenzburg, Switzerland.
  • New Ultegra 6600 groups
  • New Mavic Aksium Wheels.
  • New FSA Components.
  • New Selle Italia Saddles.
I have 3 of them here are the Characteristics

Frame Size 53cm
  1. New Luongo Frame, color Black, New uncut MonoQ Fork
  2. Full New Ultegra 6603 3x10 group
    • 170mm crank arms 52/39/30
    • Shimano R700 STIs with shims for small hands
    • 12-25 Cassette
  3. New Mavic Aksium wheels
  4. New FSA components
    • FSA IS-2 Integrated headset
    • RD250, 40 cm handlebars
    • OS-140 90mm stem
    • SL-250 Seatpost
  5. New Selle Italia C2 Saddle
  6. Michelin tyres
Frame Size 55cm
  1. New Luongo Frame, color Black, New uncut MonoQ Fork
  2. Full New Ultegra 6603 3x10 group
    • 172.5mm crank arms 52/39/30
    • Shimano Ultegra STIs
    • 12-25 Cassette
  3. New Mavic Aksium wheels
  4. New FSA components
    • FSA IS-2 Integrated headset
    • Gossamer, 42 cm handlebars
    • OS-140 90mm stem
    • SL-250 Seatpost
  5. New Selle Italia C2 Saddle
  6. Michelin tyres
Frame Size 57cm
  1. New Luongo Frame, color Black, New uncut MonoQ Fork
  2. Full New Ultegra 6601 2x10 compact group
    • Shimano Ultegra SL STIs
    • 12-27 Cassette
  3. Whelset with Ultegra Hubs ( new ) / Open Pro rims ( lightly used ), DT Comp black Spokes
  4. New FSA components
    • FSA SLK 172.5mm carbon crankset arms 50/34
    • FSA IS-2 Integrated headset
    • Gossamer, 42 cm handlebars
    • OS-140 90mm stem
    • SL-250 Seatpost
  5. New Selle Italia Filante
  6. Michelin tyres
The bikes are all brand new, with the exception of the Open Pro rims, and are ready to be finished to your fitting needs.

So the process for the sell would be
  1. Chose the bike on the size you prefer
  2. Find out the best stem height adjustment
  3. Select the handlebar tape color you prefer
  4. Pay for it.
  5. Wait for the steering tube to be cut and fitted to your preferences and the handlebar tape applied.
  6. Ride happily the Swiss mountain passes
Here you have pictures of the bikes, any question, please ask, if you need other options on wheels or pedals etc, feel free to ask.

Bikes with triple ( 53 and 55 cm)

detail of the carbon seatstays

front

Bike with a Compact ( 57 cm )

Handlebar Tape options avaliable

Shims for the R700 STIs

I am setting the price low, it is a fair price, but can be discussed if you need other options.

$1400 for the 53 and 55
$1550 for the 57

Hey, welcome back, buddy! I've been seeing your name popping up on Ricardo auctions a few times lately; did you manage to get a set of Dura Ace 7800 hubs, I saw your name on multiple auctions for some of those.

I've got multiple extra parts that you might be interested in. I might soon post them all on here first before sticking them on Ricardo.

BTW, to anyone interested in the bikes - they are certainly good, solid equipment for a very decent price (assuming the prices are supposed to be in CHF and not USD).

Welcome back Salsa! Nice bikes - pity they're a little small for me.

Why are your prices in USD?

Are you now a commercial seller?

Thanks Chris,

yes I managed to get some Dura Ace Hubs, and I do have some wheels I will put for sale later on DA/Open Pro, DA/CXP 33, revolution spokes 32h

I am not looking for parts in the moment, the only thing I need is a new Dura Ace 7800 Hubset 20h/24h, if someone knows where I can find it I'll be buying.

Out of curiosity, how much are you asking for it? Is it stock? How old?

Thanks!

Plus, I'll have a set of hand-built Ultegra / Open Pro / DT Comp (32-spoke, 3x) wheels available within a couple of weeks.

Good luck finding those DA hubs with those spoke counts!

mmm, I have a full touring group and wheels, but not a frame.

If you would be interested, we could find a suitable frame and build one. I know ChrisW was helping someone with a touring bike last time I heard

Salsa, what are the details of the full touring group & wheelset? I'm looking to buy or build a touring bike before my move to CH this summer, but I could just bring the frame if you had the right setup. Please share the details.
