Year of vehicle and date of last MFK..?

Sorry, so much to put down It was first registered in March 2004, but with regards to the MFK I will need to get my wife to confirm it (its on the grey booklet thingy right??), off the top of my head I think it was late 2008

OK folks, the last MFK was done in June 2008 (4 years after matriculation) and according to the rules the 2nd check is due in June 2011 (3 years after the first check).

The following intervals apply for cars and motorcycles: 1st Check: 4 years after the first matriculation 2nd Check: 3 years after the first check Thereafter: every 2 years

Car is booked in for new brake pads (front & rear) on Tuesday, so that is no longer an issue.

Price reduced to CHF 21,500

Need to clear the car as new one coming soon. Final price CHF18,500 OVNO or it's off to the dealers for part exchange.

There is often a lot of banter on this forum about car sales that are often overpriced; this car has dropped 25% in price since it was first advertised !

I originally priced the car according to the cheapest examples I could find on the web.. its now even cheaper and probably the nicest example of a 330 coupe out there . I guess most people prefer 4-door cars, but in any case at least I've had an offer from a dealer so it'll eventually find a home.

It's certainly a fine car, but as you say 2 doors only and in general anything with over 100k makes the Swiss very wary...

I'm not sure about that, its a diesel Beemer with a bullet proof engine and mainly highway miles (lots of trips to the UK and my wife's daily commute on the highway). I'd agree if it were a base petrol Ford or Opel with >100km. In any case the Swiss also don't like cars > 3 years old, which is great for bargain hunters

Last year I was thinking of trading my 06 Laguna estate for a new Koleos. The garage said 22-23k in part ex', saw I'd clocked up 108,000 km's back and forth to France and changed that to 12,500.... not sure it was the km's or French plate that caused the price drop.

Gorgeous pics Too bad only that I'm in process of looking around for decent BMW 320d with first imatricualtion date around 2005. Unfortunately it is not 5-door and station wagon type. I love manual gearbox too, it's a pitty that do not have spare cash now otherwise I would have reserved that one for my wife.
