Sorry we haven't organized any get-togethers in Lausanne in the past few weeks. It is certainly not due to lack of popularity of the events. I realized quite late last week that it was the appropriate week to have another one (i.e., it was two weeks since the previous one). This week was looking pretty busy for us, and it has turned out to be very much so, which is why I didn't want to add anything more to it. However, for the next two weeks I'm away on holiday.
Therefore, if anyone would like to organize an event then they are very welcome to do so. I probably won't be doing so until at least mid-August, so hopefully someone will step up to the challenge very soon. It is not difficult - just decide a time, date, and place, announce the event (preferably about one week in advance) giving some info and inviting everyone to join you (you can
use this posting as a template if you wish), then be there on time to enjoy the merriment. I'm sure that HeatherM will be able to send a notice to her
Lausanne events contacts list to make sure that interested people don't miss it.
