There is a "gathering" of the fledgling Zürich Irish club at pier west tomorrow evening (19th) from 7:30 onwards. Pier west is on the Limmat opposite Baedi Letten..

For anyone who can't make it, but wants to hear about future eh.. "events" you can sign up by sending a mail to irish_in_zurich@yahoo.ie

*Obviously this is open to anyone who is interested.. an Irish passport is not a requirement!

oh yes please nobody click on that Pier West hyperlink. Ah, browser resized. Ah, music with no obvious way to turn it off and .... many links do not work.

Apart from that, you might want to make a Social Event of this so it appears in the calendar and people can actually sign up?

True, the Pier West site is sh*te, so I've changed the link to a google map of the rough location.

I'm a bit reluctant to make it an actual event as I'm not the organiser.

Just for some more background info.. This will be the 4th time that a bunch of Paddies have met up using the "Zürich Irish club" as excuse for some mid week pints..

I've been to each of the previous nights out and had a good laugh, so just wanted to spread the word a bit, especially as there seemed to be some interest in other Irish themed threads about meeting up.

knowing Paddies as I do, they won't be too upset but it's up to you.

I think it would be a great idea if you posted it on the calandar as a social event...who knows, the organiser might just have been too busy to do it herself!!

howiye lads, i just moved to switzerland and am 17 and am enjoing there genreous 16+ drinking law. Unfortunatle i cant find to many swiss ppl to go out on the lash, so would yous mind if i popped along?
