Re: Return pub crawl in Basel

Just waiting to check the old leg injury heals as I hope this week ... need to be mobile if we're doing a pub crawl!

I will be attempting test-runs to the pub tonight and tomorrow to check it out, and will report ASAP.

No worries mate - you can have your very own limo-trolley (as pic attached) to escort you around Basel
NB: Buxom blonde not included in offer.

Hmmmm, not knowing if you're gonna get paid or not at the end of each month can't be the most secure feeling. Nee probs though Terry - we'll have a whip round for ya, shld be able to gather enough schrapnel for a few bevs

Re: Return pub crawl in Basel

Hey!
Yes this pub crawl is definately still on! Guys you gotta come - it will be a fantastic night. Basically - its just relaxed - come along, have some beers /cocktails , maybe some drinking games involved (Oh yes!) - open to all - those we have met , those we haven't .

Need I say anything more ?- Is ever an excuse needed for a night out?

Re: Return pub crawl in Basel

Apparently they're playing in Munsterplatz (Catherdral Sq) at 11.40pm. My browser died when I tried to open the pdf flyer from the JKF website though.

Saturday's program now stands like this:

2.30pm Bristol City vs Sheffield Wed on the telly - maybe watch in the Nelson.
7pm train to Basel.
8pm arrive at McGuiness's and start partying.
11pm head to JKF for Trial Of Dead.
12 or so return to pub-crawl partying.
6+am back to Zurich.

This is going to be an excellent test of endurance. Just need to fill in 2 hrs between the first two items!

The entire party is of course welcome to come along to Trail Of Dead... in fact I think that should be obligatory!

Re: Return pub crawl in Basel

That's a very well planned agenda

Mine goes more like

Finish work Friday
Check boss has paid me
Train to Bienne for street festival
See what happens
Wake up in strange place Saturday morning
Possibly go to Europa Park if I'm not there already
Head to Basel for the evening
See what happens
Make sure I'm back in Zug before 9am Monday morning

I think the 2 hours before the Bristol City match could easily be filled with some form of beer.

1pm Power kip-ette
2pm Get stoked, loaded, buzzin n charged

Re: Return pub crawl in Basel

Ok Zurichers. There's a 19.02 train from Zurich HB platform 13 which I shall be aiming for.

I'll be at the Meeting Point around 18.45 if anybody wants to meet before heading over. You can PM me for my mobile too.

Time to turn some of those Maybe's into Yes's!

Cheers, Dan.

Ok, for someone who has not met a single one of you, just how does one recognize this group in the bar, anyway?!
