City/Town: Zurich - Blue Monkey
Event Type: Dinner
Meeting Point: Stüssihofstatt 3

As some of you already know, I want to organize something on the weekend. It seems like the best idea is to do something in Zurich on Sunday evening, and it should be something that is easy to do and does not require advance planning or organization. So, the easiest is to just have dinner, together. Not very innovative, but always a winner.

We will go to the Blue Monkey, which is a Thai place near the tram stop Rathaus. You get off at Rathaus, walk towards the main station, and Stüssihofstatt is the first street to the right. We will be sitting outside, on the Rosenhof (that is the square where the international market takes place on Saturdays). We will meet at 6.30 p.m.

For further details, the menu and directions, go to http://www.kramergastronomie.ch/blue...age=bluemonkey

I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether and with how many people you are coming, though, so that I can make a reservation - after all, it does make a difference whether we are 5 or 15. But I will add some people to the reservation, anyway, so that if you want to, you can also just come along.

See you on Sunday
Idgie

Re: Dinner in Zurich

Just a note on the nature of this and all EF events I have been to:

Everyone is welcome, especially newbies.

It is always a very mixed group that comes together, always different people, from all over the world, all ages (and that is all ages from around 20 to sometimes around 70). The one thing we have in common is that we are interested in meeting new people.

So: Don't be shy, just come - you will not be "the new one", because everyone will be "new". Often, I will know just about as many people as you, i.e., none or a few.

See ya
Idgie

Re: Dinner in Zurich

Yes, what a great turnout! Idgie, I hope you now feel it was all worthwhile (because from our end it certainly was!). I have already emailed a friend to say that I would recommend the place as somewhere to go.

Thank you.

kfc.
