It's that time again...

Back by popular demand, the Wednesday drinks evening at the Talacker.

 All welcome! Come and meet the faces behind the names. Enjoy a few drinks, make new acquaintances!

It's around the corner from Paddy Reilly's, not far from Stauffacher, Paradeplatz, Bahnhofstrasse.

Bar telephone: 044 211 2050
Trams 2 / 9 to Sihlstrasse.

I'll have an area reserved for us. If in doubt, ask the staff where the English Forum area is and you'll be fine. 19.30 onwards...

Hm, might be a case of Rain Stops Play on the guitar front then...I'll still bring it along in case the weather holds off but it was pretty grim last time sat in a downpour

Ukeleles are becoming very popular, so I was told when I was in the "Duke of Uke" shop last week in London. I think Id prefer a mandoline. Even thats a bit extreme. Not many Rock Gods play mandoline that arent of Constant Sorrow, anyway...

Amazing playing, and a rich sound coming from a such a tiny instrument. The strumming in between the melody was impressive too. Hers some more Uke action. Bring some friends for a bit of Morricone.
