Attempting to "start anew", this thread takes over for this thread.

It is unofficial for a reason. Show up when you want and as often as you want... We have been coming weekly for almost a year now, and it is usually a fun night out. Ask Anna at the bar where to find us, listen for the crowd of loud English-speakers, or start at grumpy's cheese stand, and you are sure to meet at least one of us.

Tram 4 or 13 to Dammweg. Also a short walk from Zurich Hardbruecke and Escher-Wyss-Platz. The market is built into the stone overpass that the trains run on top of.

I agree the after-action report is useful in a lot of ways. But there are just some things that should stay where they happen. Besides, I am sure we will have fluff here (as you guys have displayed--you can't not post it). And if we have to start a new thread once a year, that isn't too bad really...

Go ahead. And then be obligated to always show up. As the organizer (well, if you are a good organizer), you should be at what you organize. I can't and won't do that to myself.

As I have said many times, part of the awesome-ness of Thursday night drinks is the fact that it is laid back and everyone just comes and goes as they please. Organizing the crap out of it takes that away.

I don't think that would be expected of you, we all know how hard you work for events. Just set it once in the calendar and let it run.

Only when the last thread is defluffified, the last lolcat is deleted and the last social event is cancelled, you will notice that you can't mod the forum.
