They are similar on the Thalwil place.
It costs more than during the summer I am still looking for places to play at a lower cost.
For example, here at the office in Samstagern we have free access to the installations of the public school in Wollerau, the outside football field any day between noon and 2pm and one indoor field but only on Thursdays.
The indoor field is a multisport one. so It has markings and goals included to play football, basketball, volleyball, hockey and tennis. There are 3 tennis fields markings on it. They don't have a net, but this is something that could be brought.
But this is in Wollerau, some 25 minutes from the city.
I guess in the city or near there could be other indoor fields with tennis markings that we could use for free or for a low ammount.
When asking about an indoor football field for the winter for our football players ( see the 5-a-side thread here ), I was aked for 500.- for 2 hours weekly for the season ( from 6pm to 8pm ) this gives us 52 playing hours or CHF 9.61 ( let's say CHF 10.- ) per hour.
If we had enough tennis players interested, we could organise the nets and then have 3 fields, 2 hours per week. so, the cost would be net
CHF 2.- per hour if we count with full utilisation, that is 12 players per week, or CHF 50.- per player per season.
If we can for example pay a little more ( let's say 70 per season ) this would cover the costs to buy the nets.
And this price is ridiculous compared to what you'd have to pay for a season abo at one of those tennis clubs ( 600 to 1200 per season per person in your link for example ).
even in the worst case, if we are only 2 we could pay 250 each per season and have the sports room 2 hours each week ( instead of 1 hour there).
So if the tennis players in the englishforum justify it we could organise it easily in the city to have a place to play tennis during the whole winter season.
what do you think ?

Hi guys,
Is anyone around for tennis this weekend (6th/7th) or next (13th/14th)? Would be great to get a game organized! I'm at beginner level, so if there are any other beginners, give me a shout...

Ok
I am meeting MarcoPolo to play this saturday at 5pm.
But we can also arrange an informal meeting at 4:30pm so if danny and mitucool want to come, we could do a doubles match or simply take a double court.
if any other is interested on playing tennis and meet and find partners for this, be free to come at 16:30, I think we could meet at the cafeteria or maybe I can go and pick one of the practice walls ( there are 2 ) for the 30 minutes
post your intentions to come here.

The court is reserved for this Saturday 8 October at 11 am. Me and MarcoPolo will come to play.
If there is another player that wants to come and play please post it here.
Also, even if you don't want to play this time, we could profit of this opportunity to meet anyways at the Mythenquai tennis association next saturday
If you are a tennis player and want to meet other tennis players, just post here your intentions to come and/or come on saturday a little before 11, so we can get together and know each other and get organised to play during the indoor tennis season.
